Almost triple-digit temperatures this weekend – First weather warning issued for days

NOW UNTIL THURSDAY:

There will be more clouds than sunshine this afternoon and tomorrow. Those clouds will at least help somewhat with the unusually hot weather. High today: 93. High tomorrow: 92.

Humidity is still very high today. Tomorrow it will drop a little, but only slightly. Many of you will not notice this subtle change, but some will.

Rain chances are 20% today, with a greater chance of a passing shower/storm west of Nashville. Tomorrow the chance is negligible.

On Thursday it will be warmer again and the sun will shine again. Maximum temperatures around 35 degrees and no rain are likely.

FRIDAY & THIS WEEKEND:

The first weather warnings have been issued for Friday and this weekend. Temperatures will reach the 100-degree mark during these three days, as they did last weekend. Take all necessary precautions to ensure you and your loved ones are safe and as comfortable as possible during this time. The high on Friday will be 97 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will both be around 98 degrees. With moderate to high humidity, the heat index will flirt with the lower 100s again each afternoon.

There will be few rain showers and thunderstorms on these three days. The highest probability is on Sunday – 20%.

NEXT WEEK:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Monday and Tuesday next week. The chance of rain is 40%. However, it will still be very hot and humid, with highs of between 35 and 35 degrees in the afternoon.
