Justin Timberlake arrested in Sag Harbor – NBC New York

Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor on Long Island, local police confirmed on Tuesday.

No further details were initially available about the circumstances of his arrest, except that it took place on Monday evening.

He is currently in the custody of the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and is scheduled to appear in court later Tuesday.

Police would not confirm details of the charges against him. Newsday reported that it was drunk driving.

Neither the singer nor his representatives were immediately available for comment.

This was part of Timberlake’s first world tour in nearly six years. The pop icon will perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week.
