One dead and four injured in traffic accident in South City

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – One person was killed and several others were injured in a serious overnight traffic accident in south St. Louis on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around midnight Tuesday in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood of South City on River Des Peres Boulevard. Police say it was a single-vehicle crash and the damage to the vehicle is so extensive that it is difficult to tell which car was involved.


According to police, the driver lost control for some reason and crashed into a tree, killing one person and injuring four others.

The authorities have not released the name or age of the person killed. There is also no information about the ages of the other injured people.

The police say that the other injured people are not in danger of dying, but they did not provide any specific information about the four injured people.

Due to the severity of the accident, accident reconstruction teams were called to investigate the accident. At this point, it is still unclear what caused the accident in the first place.
