SAN ANTONIO, June 17, 2024

SAN ANTONIO, June 17, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Grossman Law Offices, headquartered in Dallas, TX, reports a truck accident that occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. on April 2, 2024 US Highway 181 in Bexar County, Texas49-year-old Ervey Gomez-Garcia was killed in the accident.

Details of the Bexar County truck accident:

According to authorities, Gomez-Garcia was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck on U.S. 181 heading southeast at the intersection of West Laguna Road when the accident occurred.

Officials say a Kenworth truck pulling a Hyundai van on W. Laguna Road allegedly entered the intersection at an unsafe time and failed to yield the right of way to highway traffic as required by a stop sign, resulting in a collision between the left side of the truck and the front of Gomez-Garcia’s pickup truck.

Gomez-Garcia sustained fatal injuries in the collision and later died at a local medical facility. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
