Rochester man arrested for stealing e-bike in Canandaigua

Officers arrested a Rochester man after an electric bike was stolen in Ontario County.

Davon Perkins, 20, of Rochester, was arrested June 1 for stealing an electric bike from outside a Rite Aid store.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., a victim reported his bicycle missing from 539 N Main St. The victim later spotted Perkins on the stolen bicycle near Emmerson and Risser Roads and called police. Officers determined that Perkins had stolen the bicycle while the victim was inside the store.

Perkins was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and taken to the Ontario County Jail.
