From Cowboys Micah Parsons to Texans? NFL analyst sees LB leaving Jerry Jones for Houston

TThe Dallas Cowboys are a team with a lot of pressure trying to make the playoffs every year and the upcoming season is no exception.

Micah Parsons is one of the reasons this team has a chance to make it, but it won’t be easy. The competition in the NFC is fierce and if things don’t work out this upcoming season, some players could leave the organization.

Experts believe Parsons could be one of those players who can leave Dallas, but not necessarily Texas State.

The linebacker is a great friend of Houston Texans strategist CJ Stroud and they spent time together, possibly hinting at an NFL get-together.

Both men are currently in Asia as part of an effort to help grow the NFL. They were recently spotted at a baseball game throwing out the first pitch and even trying their hand at sumo wrestling. They also watch the NFL Draft together before the overseas trip.

This good relationship they have has attracted comments from NFL experts. ProFootballTalk hosts Mike Florio and Chriss Simms talked about the players’ connections and how they’ll soon be on the same thing.

β€œAt what point did they decide to play together,” Florio said. “And the question arises for CJ: is it going to Dallas or is Micah going to Houston? I think it’s more likely right now that Micah is going to Houston.”

Chris Simms had another idea

The former Texas quarterback shot down Florios, thinking by saying that the Texans are all set at edge position, as the team has Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter.

Afterward, the two discussed how their travel prevents them from spending time with their teammates, getting to know them better, and working during the offseason.

Only time will tell if Parsons leaves the Cowboys and if he can one day join forces with the young Stroud with the Texans or another team.
