2 dead in motorcycle accident in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Two people were killed Sunday afternoon in south St. Louis when their motorcycle collided with a car.

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. at the corner of Utah Street and Jefferson Avenue in the Benton Park West neighborhood.

The driver of the car remained at the scene of the accident.

It is unclear what caused the accident. The police accident reconstruction unit was called to the scene to investigate.
