Two arrested for raping minor girls in Udhampur’s Ramnagar – Rising Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested two persons accused of raping two minors in Ramnagar area of ​​Udhmapur district.

The duo was arrested within 24 hours of committing the crime against two students in a forest area of ​​Pansholi in Ramnagar tehsil.

Officials said that two minor girls, on their way back from a school picnic, were abducted yesterday (Friday) by two accused, identified as Daleep Kumar, son of Ramesh Kumar, and Ravinder Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, both residents of Pansholi, Ramnagar.

“The duo raped the two minor girls and left them in a pool of blood in the forest area yesterday. After learning about the girls’ disappearance, the police launched a search operation and rescued the injured girls from the forest. “The police took them to the hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable,” an official said.

The police took the matter seriously and launched a large-scale manhunt. Both the accused were arrested. A case was registered at the Ramnagar police station – (KNO)
