Little Rock police investigate shooting that left one teen dead and another injured

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – Little Rock police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night that left one teenager dead and another injured.

In a news release Wednesday evening, authorities said officers responded to a call of a shooting at 7700 North Chicot Road at 7:49 p.m. Upon arrival, officers said they found two male minors suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The press release said the two victims were subsequently taken to a local hospital. Police said one victim died, but the other was in stable condition.

The police did not provide any information about the age of the victims.

No information about suspects has been released so far.

LRPD officials said more information will be released as it becomes available.
