Seneca Falls woman arrested for failure to appear on theft charge

Seneca Falls police arrested a Geneva woman after the local court issued an arrest warrant.

On June 3, police arrested Te’ona Martin, 38, of Geneva, on that warrant. The warrant was issued after Martin failed to appear in court on a petty theft charge.

She was initially accused of stealing goods from a local store and was released with a summons.

When Martin missed her court date, a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was then transported to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court. New York State Police assisted in the arrest.
