Shooting in Rock Hill, South Carolina, under investigation

ROCK HILL, SC — Police are investigating after a shooting occurred in Rock Hill on Saturday.

It happened on Southland Drive, near the intersection of Albright Road and Mt. Holly Road.

Details about the shooting are currently limited. It is unclear if anyone was injured or if anyone was arrested.

In response to the shooting, officers rerouted traffic and did not allow anyone into the Southland Park neighborhood. People were asked to avoid the area due to traffic congestion.

WCNC Charlotte is working to gather more information on the investigation. A WCNC Charlotte team on the scene saw police and sheriff’s office vehicles at the scene.
