Police investigate traffic accident involving pedestrian in Carbondale | Illinois

CARBONDALE, Illinois – Police are asking the public to avoid the area between S. Wall Street and E. Walnut Street in Carbondale due to a traffic accident involving a pedestrian.

Carbondale Police notified the public of the traffic incident at 11:06 p.m. on Saturday, May 31.

According to the police, a pedestrian was actually involved in the traffic accident.

Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area while police investigate.
