Man arrested for hostility toward 911 dispatchers

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A man is facing charges following a car crash in Spring Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

According to Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3, officers responded to a car crash near Riley Fuzzel Road and Birnham Woods Drive in Spring just before 4:15 p.m.

Authorities said a summons was issued to the driver, Travis Moorman, following an investigation.

Officials said Moorman was upset about the summons and called the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office emergency dispatch center several times over the next four hours and was aggressive and hostile toward emergency dispatchers.

After an investigation, officials said Moorman was arrested at his home on charges of silent abuse of 911 emergency calls/electronic communications.

Moorman was later taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
