A man is killed in a motorcycle accident in Barnegat

Barnegat, NJ – A 63-year-old motorcyclist tragically died Sunday evening after colliding with a deer on County Route 610.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. and the man was taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center, where he later died. The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit, Barnegat Fire and Quality Medical Transport and Hackensack Meridian Paramedics responded to the scene.

Barnegat Twp. The Traffic Safety Unit is currently investigating the accident.
