Lufthansa suspends flights to Beirut until August 5

German airline Lufthansa said on Monday it had suspended flights to Beirut until August 5 after Israel threatened retaliation for a deadly rocket attack from Lebanon.

The company’s flights to Lebanon were cancelled due to “current developments in the Middle East,” a Lufthansa spokesman told AFP.
