Murder investigation underway in Kentwood

A homicide investigation is underway in the Kentwood area. Officers with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office were called to Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road around 8:30 a.m. Saturday. According to TPSO, a caller reported seeing a man slumped in a car that was in the middle of the road and surrounded by glass panels. First responders say the man was shot in the car. The victim was identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, Mississippi. TPSO is asking the public’s help if anyone has any information on a motive or suspects. Sheriff Gerald Sticker is urging anyone with information about this crime and/or those responsible to contact the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 985-902-2008. According to first responders, the man in the car was shot.

The victim was identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, Mississippi.
