13-year-old boy shot Sunday near Buffalo Niagara medical campus

A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in Buffalo early Sunday.

Buffalo police responded to a call just before 2 a.m. that a teenager had arrived at Buffalo General Hospital in a civilian vehicle with a gunshot wound.

The boy was struck by gunfire nearby at the corner of Main and High streets, according to a Buffalo police spokesman.

He was transferred to Oishei Children’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Police have not provided any information on the boy’s condition.
