LPSO Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Investigation Leads to Arrest | Crime

In June 2024, detectives from the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force – with assistance from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations/Attorney General’s Office – initiated an investigation in response to a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Sheriff Jason Ard says, “This investigation was initiated in connection with the possession, production and/or distribution of child pornography, which is a violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified the social media accounts reported in this incident belonging to 25-year-old Everette Walker of Randall Ave in Denham Springs. Everette Walker is an active registered sex offender and resides in Livingston Parish.”

Through this thorough investigation, it was determined that Everette Walker violated the following Louisiana Revised Laws:

  • 8 counts of 14:81.1 – JUVENILE PORNOGRAPHY – (Serious Crime) (under 13 years of age)
  • 7 counts under 15:542.1.4 – Failure to Register and Report as a Sex Offender or Child Molester – (Aggravated Felony)
  • 3 counts of 14:91.9 – Unlawful contact with the victim of a sex offender – (Aggravated crime)
  • 1 count of 14:91.9 – Unlawful contact with victims of a sex offender – (misdemeanor)

Everette Walker is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

The investigation is still ongoing.
