Couple killed in DeKalb pileup, leaves behind 2 children, GoFundMe created

DEKALB COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – Two children remain without parents after a pileup on Interstate 88 in DeKalb County earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Bryan Campbell and Asheri Campbell of Rockford died in a five-car pile-up on Interstate 88 east of Hinckley Road near mile marker 99 in Cortland. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help with final expenses and raising their children, Grayson and Gryffin.

According to the fundraiser spokesperson, Bryan “Soupy” was known as a hard worker who worked multiple jobs to provide for his family and fund their adventures. Asheri (Davis) Campbell was a devoted wife and mother and was the perfect match for Bryan.
