1 hospitalized after car crash on I-81, firefighters say

(WSET) — The Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department said a driver was hospitalized following a one-car crash on Wednesday.

Units from Stations 10 (Masons Cove) and 5 (Hollins), along with Battalion 1 and EMS 2, investigated this car crash on I-81 at the 141-mile marker, fire officials said.

According to the fire department, the driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Please remember not to be distracted while driving and if you see flashing lights on the side of the road, pull over,” the firefighters said.
