Man dies in accident on Lynn Road in Raleigh, car crashes into tree and power pole

RALEIGH, NC — A man was killed in a crash on Lynn Road in Raleigh Saturday morning.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., Raleigh Police officers responded to a car crash in the 1300 block of Lynn Road.

The driver, Octavious McKinnon, 39, died.

According to police, the 2004 Toyota Sequoia left the right side of the road, hit a power pole and struck a tree.

The crash is currently being investigated.
