One dead in shooting in southwest Charlotte: paramedics

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – One person has died following an early morning shooting in southwest Charlotte, Medic confirmed Sunday.

The shooting was reported around 6:30 a.m. in the 7300 block of Steele Creek Road. A paramedic said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information about the incident has been released.
