Twin Cities man injured in farm accident in Stearns County

COLLEGEVILLE TOWNSHIP (WJON News) – A Maple Grove man was injured in what the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is calling an accident on a farm.

Officers were called to an accident with injuries shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in a farm field on Manana Road about three miles north of Richmond.

Authorities arrived on scene and learned it was a 22-year-old Paul Kochenderfer A pickup truck got stuck in the mud and when it came loose, it continued to accelerate and crashed into a large bale of hay.

Kochenderfer was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of a head injury.
