CM inquires about factory incident in NTR district

Amaravati (AP): Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday inquired about the incident at a cement factory in Bodavada in NTR district where hot material fell on the workers and directed officials to take all necessary measures to rescue the affected people.

The chief minister also asked the officials to take steps to ensure better medical care to the injured. Naidu directed the local officials to submit a detailed report on the reasons behind the incident and take action against those responsible.

The Prime Minister has not only taken steps to ensure that those affected receive adequate compensation from the company but also stated that they will be paid ex-gratia compensation by the state government.
