Restaurant owner reacts to bizarre incident involving AEW star Ric Flair

There’s a new update in the strange series of events surrounding Ric Flair’s newest rival, Piesano’s Stone Fired Pizza.

When Ric Flair visited the restaurant in Gainesville, Florida, he called the venue because he had been evicted after allegedly spending $1,500 and having a disagreement with a kitchen manager who spent too long on the bathroom spent. Since Flair has a large following on social media, fans took notice and flooded the restaurant’s Instagram page with comments about The Nature Boy’s recent visit. Since there are always two sides to every story, Piesanos has now issued a statement.

In a statement released to The Gainesville Sun, Piesanos co-owner Jerry Roberts said the following about the incident, but declined to provide details:

“We have reviewed the video of the incident that occurred at our restaurant recently. It is clear that our team worked professionally to ensure the safety of guests and employees. We thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation and showcased our team values.”

Although AEW has previously used CCTV footage for their broadcasts, the restaurant has no plans to release the footage to the public.

Ric Flair makes shocking revelation about final match

In 2022, the WWE Hall of Famer made his last appearance when he teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. While the sight of The Nature Boy competing one final time was a spectacle on paper, the final was not one to remember fondly. When discussing his final match, Ric Flair admitted that he suffered a serious health complication.
