Gulfport man arrested after repeated knife attack on grandparents, police say

BILOXI, Mississippi (WLOX) – Jordan Keith Campbell, 23, is now in custody and faces two counts of aggravated domestic violence, Gulfport police officials announced Thursday.

The incident occurred around 8:32 p.m. Wednesday night when police officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a stabbing in the 400 block of Glen Valley Way in Gulfport. When they arrived, they found two victims, now identified as Campbell’s grandparents, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

According to investigators, Campbell entered a bedroom and stabbed his grandmother multiple times. When his grandfather tried to defend her, he was also stabbed multiple times.

Campbell’s case has since been processed and transferred to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held on $500,000 bail set by Judge Patano.
