According to police, the death of Dr. MLK Jr. was investigated on Thursday

ATLANTA – Atlanta police are investigating a July 4 death after a woman was found dead.

It happened just before noon in the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW when police were called to the scene of an unconscious person. Officers found the woman dead, police said.

Investigators are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

No further information has been released so far.
