TRAFFIC ALERT: 19th Street Closed | MyStateline

ROCKFORD, Illinois (WTVO) – Starting June 24, drivers will need to find an alternate route to avoid the closure of 19th Street between 12th and 11th Avenues.

The reason for the closure is to repair the sewers. The repairs are being carried out by the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority.

Traffic control measures are in place and motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving near the construction site.

Depending on the weather, the work is expected to be completed by the end of Friday, June 28th.
