Three people arrested in connection with body buried in Concord backyard, officials say

Three people from New Hampshire have been arrested in connection with a body found in a Concord backyard, authorities said. Concord police said investigators found the remains of Anthony Meunier, 49, of Concord on June 1. Police said the remains were found in the backyard of a home on Airport Road. On Tuesday, police arrested Todd Spataro, 57, Jocelyn Cote, 47, and Ryan Holton, 34, all of Concord. Authorities said Spataro and Holton were both charged with desecration of a corpse and tampering with evidence. They were due in court Tuesday. Authorities said Cote was charged with desecration of a corpse as an accomplice and tampering with evidence as an accomplice. Cote is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday. Police said they are currently investigating how exactly Meunier died.

Authorities said Spataro and Holton were both charged with desecration of a corpse and tampering with evidence. They were arraigned on Tuesday.

Authorities said Cote was charged with complicity in desecration of a corpse and aiding and abetting the tampering with evidence. Cote is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Police said they are currently investigating the exact circumstances of Meunier’s death.
