Justin Timberlake arrested for drunk driving in New York: reports

SAG HARBOR, NY — Police in New York have arrested pop star Justin Timberlake on suspicion of drunken driving, according to multiple reports.

A Sag Harbor court official confirmed the arrest to News 12 on Tuesday and said arraignment was expected later in the morning. Police told WCBS-TV the arrest was made early Tuesday on Long Island.

Further information on the circumstances leading to Timberlake’s arrest was not immediately available.

The arrest came as Timberlake is on his “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” which next stops in Chicago on Friday. The tour, which began in Vancouver, British Columbia, in April, is his first world tour in five years.
