Female driver injured in rollover accident on Highway 69

A car crash on Highway 69, five kilometers south of Highway 136, resulted in moderate injuries to a juvenile driver. The accident occurred on June 15, 2024 at approximately 2:47 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old male from Blue Springs, Missouri, was driving a 2004 BMW 525I northbound when he left the right side of the road. The vehicle struck an embankment, began to roll over and eventually came to a stop upright in a northeast direction.

The juvenile driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries. He was transported to Harrison County Community Hospital by NTA EMS.

The BMW 525I was a total loss and was towed from the scene by Schroff’s Tow.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office assisted Trooper Hahn on scene.
