One dead, another injured in a house fire in South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – One person is dead and another injured following a house fire in South Sacramento on Wednesday.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, it was located in the 1900 block of Niantic Heavy and was under heavy fire when firefighters arrived.

One person was found dead inside the home while another was injured and receiving CPR.
