RED WING, Minnesota – A Red Wing man is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint filed in Goodhue County.

Jeffrey David Nelsen, 43, was charged with seven felonies on Friday, June 14, 2024. According to court documents:

The Goodhue County Health and Human Services Department conducted a forensic interview with the girl. During the interview, she said she had a “bond” with Nelsen. In addition to taking walks together and hanging out together, the girl said she and Nelsen would talk on the phone almost every day, court documents say.
