Missing Dutch hiker found dead on Samos

A 74-year-old Dutch tourist who went missing while hiking on the eastern Aegean island of Samos was found dead on Saturday.

Rescue workers found him with the help of a drone in a ravine in the Limnionas area in the southwest of the island.

He had set out on a hike on Sunday and disappeared in high temperatures.

Meanwhile, a US tourist has been missing since Tuesday while hiking on the island of Amorgos. In addition, British TV doctor Michael Mosley was found dead on the island of Symi on Sunday, several days after he was reported missing.
