Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries – WHIZ

Newark, Ohio – Newark police said a 60-year-old man was hit by a car while riding his bike on Monday evening.

It happened shortly before 11 p.m. on North 21st Street near West Main Street.

Authorities said the vehicle that struck the victim did not stop after the accident, causing the victim to suffer life-threatening injuries.
