Police search for couple after robbery on North Wildwood boardwalk – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in North Wildwood, New Jersey, are asking the public for help in identifying two people authorities believe were involved in a robbery that occurred on the boardwalk on Saturday.

According to police, the two people are suspected of being involved in a serious assault that police say occurred sometime on Saturday in the area of ​​26th Street and the beach promenade.

Police officials posted information about the incident online on Sunday.

Police officials describe the first person as a slim man wearing pink shorts at the time of the incident and the second suspect as a slim man wearing a black shirt, purple shorts and sunglasses during the alleged incident.

Officials with the North Wildwood Police Department are asking anyone with information regarding these individuals or the incident to contact them at 609-522-2411 or email the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division at [email protected].

The public can also submit a tip anonymously by texting “TIP NWPD” followed by their message to 888777.

The incident followed a Memorial Day weekend in which a state of emergency was declared in Wildwood and panicked crowds fled a stabbing on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Cape May County.
