Man tells hospital staff he killed someone

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – Kansas City, Kansas police investigators are investigating the city’s 10th homicide this year.

At 11:45 p.m. on May 8, officers were called to 19th Street and North Hallock after a man entered the emergency room at KU Medical Center and told officers he had killed someone at that address.

When officers arrived at the KCK home, they found the body of a dead woman inside with gunshot wounds.

The man at KU Med is currently in custody.
