2 dead found in house in Owasso; investigation ongoing

Owasso police are investigating after two people were found dead in a home on Friday.

According to Owasso Police, officers were called to a home on the corner of 11400 North and 131 East Avenue just before 2 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found an adult male and an adult female inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds.

“The crime scene has been secured and once a search warrant is obtained, investigators will begin investigating. This investigation is in the very early stages, so we will not be releasing any details at this time. Initial findings indicate this was a domestic incident and investigators are not actively looking for a suspect or anyone else who may pose a threat to the community at this time,” Deputy Chief Jason Woodruff said in a message.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Owasso Police Department.
