19-year-old motorcyclist killed in Chesapeake crash – The Virginian-Pilot

CHESAPEAKE – A motorcyclist died in an accident Saturday evening.

At 5:17 p.m., Chesapeake police officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Hanbury Road East and Benson Lane, according to Chesapeake police. Upon arrival, they found a motorcyclist traveling eastbound on Hanbury Road E, approaching the intersection with Benson Lane. A pickup truck traveling westbound on Hanbury turned in front of the motorcycle onto Benson Lane, heading toward the mall.

The motorcyclist, 19-year-old Ethan Jeffrey Redding of Chesapeake, crashed into the side of the pickup truck and was killed.
