Western Racquet & Fitness Club informs members about criminal investigations against former employees

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Western Racquet & Fitness Club sent an email to its club members Thursday confirming that criminal charges are pending against a former employee.

The club says that on May 14, an investigator with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department reported an incident to them. The incident occurred the week of May 6 and involved a participant in the junior tennis program. When the employee learned of the incident, he was immediately fired.

Western is cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities, the club said. To the club’s knowledge, charges have been filed.

The employee was not named in the statement. Action 2 News is working to find out more.
