Person shot and injured in Winter Springs

The city of Winter Springs confirmed one person was shot Saturday. According to officials, the incident occurred on Edgemon Ave. 304. Matt Reeser with the city of Winter Springs said the shooting victim was transported to a hospital. The victim’s health condition is currently unknown. Reeser said police attended the scene of the incident. However, “unofficial parties” do not cooperate. The details of what led to the shooting have yet to be released, but police said they are trying to piece things together. This is a developing story.
