“Swati Maliwal threatened me with dire consequences”: Bibhav Kumar’s account of the incident at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence | Delhi News

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA complaint, Bibhav Kumar, to the Delhi Police, gives a completely different account of what happened at the CM’s residence on May 13, 2024. He has accused Maliwal of threatening the security personnel, forcibly entering the house in an unauthorized and illegal manner and mistreating, pressuring and threatening him to implicate him in false cases. He has taken legal action against them and hinted at BJP involvement throughout the episode. The following is his version of events:
May 13, 8: 40 p.m | Swati Maliwal arrives at Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence at 6, Flagstaff Road, Civil Lines, New Delhi and seeks permission to enter. She identifies herself as a Rajya Sabha member and tells the security guard that she has an appointment
➤ When the security guard refuses entry because she doesn’t have an appointment, she forcibly enters the CM’s apartment despite the staff’s objections (Bibhav calls it trespassing).
➤ CM’s office staff asks her to stay in the waiting area, which is not in the main building where CM lives. She starts shouting and abusing the office staff and insists that they check with the CM about her “appointment”.
9:00 am | She ignores the staff’s objections and enters the main building of the residence. Bibhav, who is not there, is informed
9:20 am | Bibhav reaches CM’s residence and is informed about Maliwal’s unauthorized entry
9:22 am | Bibhav enters the main building and finds Maliwal sitting in the living room. He asks her to follow proper procedure for meeting CM. Maliwal starts shouting and shouting at the complainant and insults him saying, “Tumhari himmat kaise hui…ek MP ko rokne ki…tumhari aukat kya hai?” She ignores Bibhav’s pleas and threatens him of dire consequences if they don’t meet CM may
➤ Bibhav “respectfully and repeatedly” asks them not to threaten them, but Maliwal walks towards the inner part of the CM’s residence
➤ Bibhav is suspicious of her motives and blocks her path. Maliwal sits on the sofa, dials PCR and starts making “false allegations” against Bibhav. When he asks her to leave again, she throws herself at him to push him away and insults him. “Main tujhe dekh lungi…******…main tujhe aise jhoothe case mein fasaungi ki tujhe zindagi bhar jail mei sadha dungi…” she tells him
9:24 am | Bibhav calls the security guards who ask Maliwal to leave but she continues to threaten Bibhav and the staff
9:35am | She finally leaves CM’s residence
