A Kentucky man was arrested thanks to the efforts of multiple agencies

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A man accused of rape is behind bars thanks to a joint effort by the Indiana State Police, the Owensboro Police Department and the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office.

ISP says OPD contacted a Master Trooper to assist in locating a suspect wanted on a felony warrant out of Kentucky.


Officials say ISP and SCSO were informed that James Saint worked for a poultry company somewhere in Indiana. Authorities located Saint in Lamar, Indiana after reportedly contacting several businesses.

Saint was arrested and taken to the Spencer County Jail where he is being held pending extradition to Kentucky.

He is accused of the following:

  • First Degree Rape – Victim Under 12 Years of Age (two counts)
  • Sodomy 1st Degree – Victim under 12 years of age (two counts)
  • First degree sexual abuse – victim under 12 years of age (two cases)
