ON THE NORTH BANK. I think skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. WE’RE ALWAYS HAVING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND FROM WHAT WE’RE TRACKING THE WEATHER IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN NEXT WEEK. In fact, there are some very good chances of rain. Our temperatures on the North Shore are now near 70 degrees. WE ARE AT 71. IN SLIDELL, 70. IN GULFPORT, 72. THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE IN BATON ROUGE FEELS VERY COMFORTABLE OUTSIDE. 73 IN HOUMA HAS A NICE BREEZE AT ABOUT 15 mph. HERE ARE YOUR CURRENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Dew point at 56. I shake my head because this may be the last weekend we have dew points in the 50s until next fall. 74 DEGREES. The temperature in this east to northeast wind. THERE 15 miles per hour. AND YES, IT WILL BE A LITTLE breezy TODAY. TO THE SOUTH OF US THERE IS THE COLD FRONT. IT WILL COME BACK AS A WARM FRONT. Most likely from Sunday evening to Monday. That will be a factor for us. WE WILL ALSO HAVE SOME UPPER LEVELS DISTURBANCES ACROSS THE STATE THAT WILL GIVE US A BETTER CHANCE OF RAIN. BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TODAY. YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE IN THE LOW TO MID 80s. VERY COMFORTABLE, PARTLY CLOUDY, MOSTLY SUNNY, VERY BEAUTIFUL, A LITTLE WILD, THEN THE CLOUDS WILL BE A LITTLE THICKER TONIGHT IN THE COMPUTER. The models actually soak up some rain. This will be the first of these upper level disturbances giving us a chance for showers. First thing on Sunday morning. Okay, let’s select. It’s raining a little, but we think it should stop raining by nine-ten, making it a mostly dry afternoon. IT’S GETTING A LITTLE WARMER. Note the winds from the southeast. SO IT WILL BE A LITTLE WARMER AND A LITTLE HUMIER. Now we go from Sunday evening to Monday morning. HERE YOU START TO SEE THE RAIN INCREASE. Where exactly will it rain the heaviest? It’s too early for us to tell, but here we are Monday morning with some pretty good showers and thunderstorms on the North Coast. Not to mention that the North Coast will be the only area where it rains like this. We may move this rain area a little further south, a little further north. IN THE NEXT DAYS. IT’S STILL A LITTLE WAY TO DETERMINE EXACTLY WHO WILL GET THE HEaviest Rain, BUT THEN THERE’S ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM MONDAY NIGHT TO TUESDAY. AND FROM MONDAY NIGHT TO TUESDAY SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BE A LITTLE STRONG, SO IT WILL TAKE A WEEK WHILE WE CHECK WDSU FIRST. WARNING RADAR VERY, VERY RELIGIOUS. TODAY PARTLY CLOUDY, AIRY AND LESS HUMID. ENJOY IT. HUMIDITY. TODAY STAY ON THE BOTTOM PAGE. STILL LOW TOMORROW. LIGHT BREEZE FOR US TONIGHT. You’ll wake up in the 60s. LOW 60’S ON THE NORTH COAST AND TOMORROW MORNING WILL BE OVERLY CLOUDY, breezy, A FEW SOLID SHOWERS, PARTICULARLY IN THE MORNING, AND THE CHANCE OF RAIN IS OFFICIALLY ONLY 20%. SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY. The better chance for showers may also be heavy rain. THEN WE ALSO HAVE A CHANCE OF RAIN ON TUESDAY. We could see some of these stronger storms Monday evening into Tuesday. WEDNESDAY APPEARS TO BE NEXT WEEK’S DRY DAY AND THEN THE FORECAST MAY BE ANOTHER DRY DAY UNTIL THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE’
