2 dead in crash in southern Iowa

Two people died and two others were injured in a crash in southern Iowa on Friday around 7:40 p.m. Iowa State Patrol investigators say Robin Reaves, of Urbandale, was traveling north on Lineville Road in Decatur County when she missed a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 2 and crashed into the side of a truck. Robin and passenger Lance Reaves died at the scene. A 10-year-old and a 36-year-old were taken to Decatur County Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say no one was wearing a seatbelt in either car.

Iowa State Patrol investigators say Robin Reaves, of Urbandale, was driving north on Lineville Road in Decatur County when she ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 2 and crashed into the side of a truck.

Robin and passenger Lance Reaves died at the scene.

A 10-year-old and a 36-year-old were taken to Decatur County Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said no one was wearing a seatbelt in any of the cars.
