ONLY. DEVIN WITH THE WEATHER WILL BE SIMPLY SPECTACULAR FOR THIS SATURDAY EVENT. At daytime highs, temperatures will be around 83 to 84 degrees. HUMIDITY WILL BE LOW. ISLAND VIEW CASINO CAM ALSO LOOKS GOOD THERE IN GULFPORT. Let’s find out what we have. CLOUD COVERS A FEW HIGH IN THE SKY. The clouds are still moving through, but they’re calling those clear skies as the sun sets later this evening. We’ll find out what we did about the high temperatures today. We actually spent most of the day in the low 80s with cloud cover still lingering. The front that was held up because we didn’t get the storms we expected could have come through late last night and early this morning. JUST LOOK. 91 TO BOGALUSA. We’ve hit 88 degrees on the lakefront and officially here in New Orleans. I saw that the lakeshore temperature may have reached 90°. LATE I FINALLY COME TO THE SUNSHINE. It’s still pretty humid HERE NEAR NEW ORLEANS, but on the North Shore you’ve already taken advantage of the lower humidity with these 60s. SOME OF US IN THE FRONT ARE JUST HANGED THERE ON THE COAST. Still feeling pretty hot. But look at the emerging northeasterly winds that will pull in cooler, drier air. And we will all feel it when Saturday begins. Now Mother’s Day is a little different. I WILL NOW SHOW TWO FRONTS DIRECTLY AT US. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE COOLER, DRYER AIR THAT WILL BRING IN WITH NORTHEASTERN WINDS TONIGHT. IT WILL BE VERY AIRY. IF YOU CHANCE TO BE LATE OVERNIGHT 10 AM TO 8 PM. TOMORROW WILL BE A NICE DAY. BUT LOOK WHAT HAPPENS. Essentially a warm front retreating. On Mother’s Day Sunday the cloud cover will initially increase, and then there may be showers and storms. We focus on this and give you the exact timing of the rain, which is just a minute away. COULD be AS crisp as 59. On the North Shore, maybe to Franklinton, maybe even to Kentwood tomorrow morning. Look for between 68 and 73 on the south bank to get up and go. LOTS OF SUN TOMORROW. PAIR OF CLOUDS. IT’S STILL WARM. TEMPERATURE AROUND 8485.86 BUT THE HUMIDITY LOWER. You can see these dew points well into the 50s. So it will feel much better than the last few days. THERE’S SUNDAY BRUNCH WITH MOM HERE AT 10 AM, LOOKS GOOD. LUNCH OR EARLY AFTERNOON. Things are looking good for us too, but towards the evening there is a risk of storms that will return in the evening hours. The Mother’s Day breakdown assumes clouds will increase throughout the day, but from morning to midday I think we’re looking good. There may be a chance of rain as early as late afternoon. MORE EVENING HOURS. This keeps temperatures a few notches lower. I’LL JUST GO MAYBE 83. THEN UNTIL MONDAY. THIS FORECAST DOESN’T LOOK BAD, BUT LOOK AT THIS SPECIAL FORECAST. Many storms are coming on Monday. We may not make it out of the 70s if we get as many storms as some forecasts are predicting, and we will continue the storms through Monday night into Tuesday, but then skies will be clear Tuesday through Wednesday as the heat begins Until then, return. SUMMARY: WDSU FIRST WARNING WEATHER FORECAST FOR SEVEN DAY LOWER HUMIDITY AGAIN IN THE 84 FEEL GREAT. Clouds will increase Sunday evening due to Mother’s Day storms. On Monday, the storms are most likely to continue overnight on Tuesday, but
