Man rapes woman after choking her from behind on New York street: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY – A shocking video shows a masked man wearing a belt lassoing a woman from behind a New York City car, choking her unconscious and dragging her between two cars where he raped her, according to police and Reports.

The rape occurred in early May when a 45-year-old woman was walking near East 152nd Street and Third Avenue in the Bronx, authorities said.

A yet-to-be-identified man stalked after the woman around 5 a.m., NYPD officials said.

A graphic video obtained and published by the New York Post shows the moment the man lassoed the woman around her neck and pulled her to the ground. The video shows the man dragging the woman’s limp body between two cars.

The woman lost consciousness during the attack while the man raped her, police said.

The masked man ran toward Melrose Avenue after the sexual assault while the woman went to Lincoln Hospital for treatment, authorities said.

The suspect is a man about 5 feet 7 inches tall who was wearing a black sweatshirt with white letters that read “GAP,” white sweatpants and black, red and white sneakers, police said.
