Fresno man sentenced to 29 years in prison for sexually abusing young children and a dog

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Gage Mason, 20, of Fresno was sentenced Friday to 29 years in prison on various charges related to the sexual assault of several children and a dog.

Mason’s sentence was entered on July 26, 2024 by the Honorable Judge Gabriel Brickey of the Fresno County Superior Court after Mason pleaded guilty to all counts and all aggravating circumstances.

In addition to his prison sentence, Mason must also register as a sex offender.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department began investigating Mason on April 5, 2023, after reports of sexual assaults on several minors.

On April 19, 2023, after a thorough investigation, Mason was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
