1 arrest after multi-agency chase in Tulsa

One person is in custody after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase through Tulsa early Wednesday morning.

Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police said officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 169 around 12:30 a.m., but the driver sped away.

The Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police requested assistance from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Tulsa Police Department and the Tulsa Police Department, with the latter providing a helicopter for assistance.

Officials said the pursuit lasted about 45 minutes and took officers throughout Tulsa.

The driver ran stop signs but continued driving and even rammed an OHP police officer’s patrol car.

The driver was eventually arrested and officers questioned three women who were also in the car.
