Shooting on Dorsey Street in Atlanta | Police details

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating an overnight shooting that left two people injured on Dorsey Street.

Officers said they were notified of the incident shortly after 11 p.m.

Once there, they said they found a 40-year-old woman with gunshot wounds and a 67-year-old man who had received “a possible graze wound.”

According to a statement from authorities, the victim, a woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance.

At that time, officers believe the victims were simply standing in front of a house on the street when an unknown suspect began firing shots at them from a vehicle.

Atlanta police have not provided any information about a suspect.
